Take the First Step to Becoming a Skydiver

Tandem Skydiving is defined by the FAA as two people using one parachute system, the Student in the front as passenger and the instructor in the rear as parachutist in command.  We offer Tandem Skydives as the preferred first time jump method because there is minimal training involved before making your jump safely.

When you arrive here at Tradewind Sky Sports you will be required to show a Photo ID and complete our Medical Questionnaire and Waiver of Liability.  After completion of the paperwork your instructor will walk you through the training program were you will be briefed on normal & emergency aircraft procedures, exiting the aircraft, normal & emergency freefall procedures, parachute activation, operations, & landing procedures.

Tandem Jump Prices

Tandem I $180
 Per Person		 $175«
 Per Person

This is your introduction to skydiving and is also the first jump in the student program. The primary goal of this jump is basic freefall body position, introduction to canopy flight and having fun.
Tandem II $175
 Per Person		 N/A The second tandem will focus further on freefall body position. We will also incorporate freefall turns, altitude awareness drills, and more advanced canopy piloting techniques.
Video $89
 Per Person		 N/A An edited jazzed up DVD of your skydiving experience, along with music of your choice so you can prove to others that you did in fact jump from a perfectly operating aircraft.

  • «) The 'Group Rate' is available for groups of three or more people that all jump on the same day.
  • Jumpers weighing over 230 pounds should contact the drop zone before purchasing their jumps.
  • Military Personnel with valid ID will receive a 10% discount on Tandem I and Tandem II jumps.
  • There is a $50 per person NON REFUNDABLE deposit required to reserve your appointment.
